Så blev det 3. september 2011 og første Nordic Kettlebell Cup blev afholdt i Urban Fitness i København. En helt absolut fantastisk dag med atleter fra Norge, Sverige, Irland og Danmark havde taget vejen til Amager og fik prøvet kræfter med Snatch, Clean & Jerk, Triathlon sprint og Strongman event.
Dagen startede kl 9.00 med indvejning og klargøring til dagens konkurencer.
Kl. 10 gik de første atleter på til snatch, 4 kvinder og 12 mænd stillede op.

Efter snatch blev det Clean & Jerk og her stillede 3 kvinder og 11 mænd til start.

Efter endt Clean & Jerk konkurrence faldt der ro over konkurrencen da der var frokost som var sponsoreret af Joe & the Juice (STOR tak til Kasper Garnell for at hjælpe med dette). Helt klart et indslag der faldt i god jord hos alle deltagere!
Da frokosten var vel overstået startede man ud med Triathlon sprint med 2 kvinder og 13 mænd til start (30 sek jerk med hver hånd, 30 sek snatch med hver hånd og 30 sek clean & jerk med hver hånd).
